UC Indoor Project Description

MSA Sport is serving as the Architect-of-Record and team leader for the University of Cincinnati’s new Indoor Practice Facility and Athlete Performance Center, in collaboration with Gensler. This state-of-the-art, multi-sport training facility, set to be a premier destination at the Power Five level, will be situated near the southeast corner of Main Campus, making a striking impression at a key university entrance.

With the Indoor Practice Facility expected to open in 2024 and the Athlete Performance Center in 2025, this project aims to enhance the athletic capabilities and overall experience for the university’s sports programs.

Cutting-Edge Indoor Practice Facility and Athlete Performance Center Designed by MSA Sport and Gensler

The Indoor Practice Facility will offer the university a year-round, on-campus venue for multi-sport practice. Complementing this, the Athlete Performance Center will feature a comprehensive range of program spaces, including strength and conditioning areas, training and recovery facilities, locker rooms, athlete lounges, dining areas, team meeting rooms, and athletic staff and administration offices.
