Integrated Technology

The final design solution carefully balanced the needs of younger and older students alike while still managing to spark the curiosity of students of all ages. Integrated technology and a variety of new flexible furniture options have allowed the school to re-imagine learning and provide even greater opportunities for students to grown and excel.

Global Education

The existing school houses kindergarten through 8th grade and consists of mainly double-loaded corridors with traditional classrooms on both sides. Well known for its global education and immersive hands-on learning programs, the school was in need of flexible spaces that could support a variety of innovative learning opportunities outside of the classrooms. A large, open space that once housed the old gymnasium, was underutilized and in need of fairly substantial upgrades. After a series of engagement workshops and student design charrettes lead by MSA, the existing space was re-visioned to incorporate a new STEM lab, collaboration clusters, exploration zone, small group study pods, and resource library. The existing stage was re-purposed to allow the space to double as a performance venue when needed.
