Cutting-Edge High School Stadium

This development has revolutionized sporting, educational, and community events at Purcell Marian HS, significantly elevating the experience for all the Cavaliers’ community. Prior to the construction of Staubach Stadium, all outdoor sports teams had to travel for practices and competitive events, making this new facility a game-changer for the school. Realization of this facility has also expanded the school’s neighborhood and regional partnership opportunities.

The First Home Football Game

The facility opened its doors just in time for the inaugural 2023 home football game at Staubach Stadium, which drew a sell-out crowd. The event was made even more special by the attendance of Roger Staubach, the stadium’s namesake. This successful launch has established Staubach Stadium as a premier home sports venue, significantly enhancing the athletic program by providing a versatile outdoor field for multiple sports. Additionally, the stadium serves as an “outdoor classroom” for academic activities, further enriching the educational experience at Purcell Marian High School.
