When ProKids outgrew their space at their Corryville location they were given the opportunity to relocate occupying the old furniture showroom space in the Shillito’s garage in Downtown Cincinnati.
A Fresh Space
This project would be a complete fit-out of the pre-existing 22,000sf cold, dark shell space in the first floor of the seven story parking garage.
The transformation provides open and closed office spaces, conference & huddle rooms, a café and collaboration area, flexible meeting and training spaces, and areas for growth within the footprint. Operable partitions between the training spaces and café allow the room to be used flexibly for various sizes of groups. Storage rooms are built into the space for legal file storage and flexible furniture storage. A resource room provides display and storage of toys and items for kids that the CASA’s can distribute to the client children.
Meticulously Crafted
Architectural finishes were meticulously crafted for the space, consisting of polished concrete, carpet and tile flooring, wood wall panels and decorative ceiling beams, and specialized lighting. Graphics are applied to obscure the direct view into the space through the storefront and to provide their brand identity to the relocated entrance.
