Community. Connection. Cladding.
Calhoun Hall was constructed in the southwest quadrant of the University of Cincinnati in 1968 to provide housing for 860 students. The building is a 14-story concrete frame structure, built originally with a glass and metal curtain wall facade. Calhoun is 192 feet high and 172,967 square feet.
With the new renovations, Calhoun now contains 29 single, double and quad rooms on each of 13 floors, accommodating 792 residents. The lobby is 10,000 square feet and also contains 12,620 square feet of reservable classroom space. Combined, Calhoun has the largest residential lobby/lounge space on campus.
